Go Big Blue — bagels?

Lynbrook Bagel Shop give 'Giant' support

Big Blue has some of its biggest supporters in Lynbrook — just ask the staff at Lynbrook Bagels on Atlantic Avenue.

Their windows are decked out in Giants memorabilia, not to mention their cars parked out front. But the photos and Jerseys aren’t the only way the bagel shop shows it love for the Giants — it’s in the food, too.

The family-owned bagel shop has brought back its blue bagels to show its Giants’ pride.

Owner Michael Clancy said the shop first introduced the Blue Bagels in the winter of 2008 when the Giants won their last Super Bowl. He’s hoping his team can do the same this season.

“I’m really excited for this game,” Clancy said. He also said that he likes the Giants chances, especially if the San Francisco 49ers, the Giants’ next opponent, play like they did on Saturday against the New Orleans Saints.

Clancy’s two young children wore Giants gear from head-to-toe. He said they’re fourth-generation Giants fans.

Lynbrook Bagels will be making the bluehued bagels throughout the Giants’ playoff run.
