On February 18, the John P. McGuinness-Richard Fitzsimons Division 14 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Catherine McAuley Division 14 of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians celebrated at their annual Hearts & Shamrocks Dinner Dance held at the Elks Lodge in Lynbrook.
The AOH honored its Man of the Year, Assemblyman Brian Curran and Woman of the Year, Nancy Henry. The Ed Ryan Band entertained, and the Glor Na nGael Pipes & Drums made a special appearance. The event chairpersons were Jim Henry, AOH Division 14, and Pauline Johnson, LAOH Division 14.
