Thanks for the memories

To the Editor:
I would like to thank the presidents, past and present, the members of the executive board and the members of the Lynbrook Senior Citizens’ Club for all the kindness that has been shown to me in my capacity as senior citizen liaison and coordinator for the Village of Lynbrook.
As some of you may know, I have not been reappointed to the position that I have held in the village for the last five years. Since I have been replaced, I would like to say it has been an honor and a pleasure to assist and serve our seniors in need.

In my position I not only served the members of the Lynbrook Senior Citizen Club but many, many seniors who reside within our community. They will always be in my prayers. Best wishes to them for good health and happiness in the years ahead.
While I know that my letter has not been submitted to the Herald in time for the holidays, I would like to wish everyone a belated Sweet Passover and a happy and blessed Easter. May God bless all our wonderful senior citizens who have contributed so much to our country, their knowledge to the youth of our community and their love and dedication to our village.
