The Christmas spirit was evident throughout Lynbrook on Dec. 14 as the village hosted a plethora of holiday activities.
It all began at 10 a.m. as Regal Cinemas 13 ushered its annual holiday children’s movie event. Then at noon, members of the Lynbrook Fire Department offered holiday rides around the village for residents, which started at Parking Field No. 8.
The festive festivities concluded with the village’s Wonderland of Lights celebration, where residents had the chance to take a horse and wagon ride through Greis Park, which was illuminated with Christmas lights. Once there, they met with Santa Claus and his elves and wrote letters to the big man in the red suit.
“The holiday celebration was a great success and Atlantic Avenue was packed with holiday spirit,” Mayor Alan Beach said. “ . . . I’m truly blessed to be the Mayor of this village.”
