West Enders present ‘Thanksgiving Treasure’

Posted

First graders from Lynbrook’s West End School paid a special visit to Sunrise Senior Living of Lynbrook to present the play “Thanksgiving Treasure.” Dressed as Pilgrims and Native Americans, the students went on a treasure hunt to find the greatest gifts of all — family, friends, food, health, home and clothing. At the finale of the show, students held up posters they had made depicting all the things for which they are most grateful.

“This play reminds us as the busy holiday season begins, that the greatest gifts of all are those that money cannot buy,” said music teacher Stella Kruh. “We are happy this year to share our joyous message of gratitude with the residents of Sunrise Senior Living.”
