The South Shore Audubon Society held a bird walk on Sunday, March 13, at Hempstead Lake State Park.
Equipped with binoculars and information, those who participated walked with Audubon Society leaders and other birders and nature enthusiasts who shared their knowledge and experience about the local birds.
