District urges residents to participate in budget survey

The Malverne Union Free School District is asking all community members to participate in a brief online survey regarding the 2012-13 school budget. This survey will provide the Board of Education and administration feedback on what is most important to taxpayers as they begin the budget process. The survey can be found at the district’s website, malverne.k12.ny.us, and will be accessible through Monday, Jan. 16.

The survey results will be used as talking points for the district’s budget forum, which will be held on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Howard T. Herber Middle School auditorium. The district urges all residents to participate in the survey regardless of whether they can be present for the forum.
