Some 25 Malverne firefighters spent a few hours on Aug. 11 training in the buildings on the former Woodland Nursery property that will soon be demolished. They practiced using equipment and forcing doors, according to Fire Chief Danny Morgan, who was invited by the new property owner to use the site for training.
