Malverne High School recently hosted its Second Annual Science Expo, which included informational activities that offered students the opportunity to get excited about science and explore various science-related careers.
New this year was a workshop on making ice cream out of liquid nitrogen and dry ice activities that illustrated Newton’s Law. Representatives from Atlantis Marine World and the New York Aquarium were on hand to answer student questions, as well as several colleges who offered information on majors in the field of science.
