The Malverne Public Library held an open house on Sept. 14 during which its staff members and director, Stephanie Stanton, dressed up as characters from literature and demonstrated how much fun the library can be.
The open house was for residents of North Lynbrook and Malverne Park who will vote on Sept. 28 on which of the surrounding area library they want to be a part.
Malverne library staffers wanted to showcase what it offers to members during the open house and even created a PowerPoint presentation listing the top five reasons to choose it.
Elections will begin at noon and end at 9 p.m. at the Maurice W. Downing Elementary School in Malverne.
