Following the excitement of Homecoming, Malvernites kept their spirits — and energy — high on Sunday for the 5th Annual National Jean Company 5K Walk/Run for Education, presented by The Rotary Club of Malverne.
Among participants were Malverne Mayor Patti McDonald and Lynbrook Mayor Brian Curran. Olympic Gold Medalist and Lakeview native Derrick Adkins was also on hand, encouraging runners to keep going.
