Musings of Gilbert Gottfried

Coming Attractions

Posted

The irreverent Gilbert Gottfried, recently fired as the voice of the AFLAC duck in the insurance commercials, visits the Landmark Theater in Port Washington, on Tuesday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. Daniel Paisner will interview Gottfried about his career and new book, “Rubber Balls and Liquor.” Gottfried became a household name with his irritating voice and unusual sense of humor, building an enormous following for his sold-out stand-up performances, his critically-ignored motion picture career, his hardly-remembered turn as a Saturday Night Live cast member, and his bestselling DVD and CD releases. Gottfried has appeared in over 100 movies and television shows, and can be frequently seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Howard Stern Show.

Admission is free. Jeanne Rimsky Theater, 232 Main St., Port Washington. (516) 767-1384 orwww.landmarkonmainstreet.org.
