Who should be the 2010 Person of the Year?

Is your neighbor the Mother Teresa of the neighborhood? Did your pastor organize a food drive to help people in the community?

The Herald is looking to find the most outstanding people in the community for our Person of the Year, and we want your help.

Send us your nominations for whom you think should be honored as our Person of the Year. It should be someone who made a real difference in the community, this year and in years past. It could be someone you know very well, or a stranger you met just once. The only requirement is that they live or work in the community and that they have made a difference in the lives of the people in Malverne or West Hempstead this year.
