Bellmore-Merrick schools on delayed start

Owing to icy road conditions, the Bellmore, Merrick, North Bellmore and North Merrick school districts will start school two hours late on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will also be on a delayed schedule. Grand Avenue and Merrick Avenue middle schools will begin school at 9:56 p.m., and Calhoun, Kennedy and Mepham high schools will start at 9:30 a.m.
