Amazing Honeybees
Get up close with the honeybee, with the assistance of an expert beekeeper at Muttontown Preserve’s family program. Explore the many facets of the honeybee’s life, including how bees make honey and beeswax, how they “air condition” their hives, and more.

‘60s Revisited

The Story of Woodstock
Woodstock lives on and legendary New York disc jockey, Pete Fornatale, resurrects the festival that changed the nation – and the music world forever – with his vivid multimedia presentation, based on his book, “The Story of Woodstock: Back to the Garden.” The program, which includes rare audio clips and video footage of the music festival, transports the audience back in time to the three day festival, featuring original interviews with Roger Daltrey, Joan Baez, David Crosby, Richie Havens, Joe Cocker and dozens of headliners, organizers and fans.

Stepping Back In Time

Model 'A’ Ford Day
Relive those first glorious days of the automobile. There’s plenty to see at the annual exhibition of the vehicles that helped begin modern age of the auto. View over 60 historic Model A Fords displayed at Old Bethpage Village’s Fairgrounds, which is a recreation of the old Mineola Fairgrounds, where Model A cars were a common site during the 1930s. Also enjoy the music of the Old Bethpage Village Brass Band, at 2 and 3:15 p.m.
