A Chevy Cobalt overturned on Camp Avenue in Merrick after the driver lost control of the vehicle last week.

A Chevy Cobalt traveling westbound on Camp Avenue in Merrick overturned after the driver lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree last Wednesday afternoon.
Several police cars were on the scene to assist in removing the woman from her vehicle. The woman, whom police would not identify, was removed from the car and taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m., just down the street from Mepham High School.
