Easter Bunny hops into Fraser Park

The North and Central Merrick Civic Association recently held its annual Spring Eggstravaganza at Fraser Park in North Merrick.
The association spread Easter eggs around the park, and children scoured the grounds in search of the colorful eggs. After the hunt, there was a Matzo Beach Ball Toss in celebration of Passover.
The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance at the Eggstravaganza to spread cheer and take photos with children.
NCMCA President Claudia Borecky credited Camp Avenue Brownie Troop 2398, headed by Troop Leader Tina Flynn, with saving the annual spring event. According to Borecky, the group donated $30 to help pay for the day’s festivities.
