Kennedy celebrates at Homecoming

Kennedy High School in south Bellmore recently celebrated Homecoming with its annual pep rally inside the school gymnasium.
Students, who come from Bellmore and Merrick, filled the gym as the Kennedy Cougar cheerleaders revved up the crowd and the kickline team performed a dance routine. Each sports team was introduced and met by thunderous applause.
Following the pep rally, the school held its customary bonfire on the school field just before the football team kicked off at the big Homecoming game, defeating Carle Place 34-28.
