Posted

Kennedy High School senior Eugenio Ciniglio, a linebacker and tight end on the up-and-coming Cougars football squad, signed a letter of intent to play for the Marist College Red Foxes, a Division I team, next fall. Ciniglio is the first Kennedy football player in more than two decades to earn a football scholarship. Ciniglio scored the winning touchdown in the Nassau-Suffolk Exceptional Seniors Game this past fall. On Wednesday, he was joined by his coach, Frank Sansanelli, Kennedy Athletic Coordinator Craig Papach, Principal Lorraine Poppe, his guidance counselors, family and friends for the signing ceremony.
