Mepham High School graduate Sade Ayinde has been named to the 21-player roster for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Germany this July. Sade, who recently played with the U-20 team during a two-week training camp in California, will be a junior at the University of Maryland in the fall.

The squad, coached by National coach Jillian Ellis, will head to Germany on July 13. The World Cup is being held in Bochum, Bielfeld, Augsburg and Dresden. The U.S., along with Ghana, Switzerland and Korea Republic, make up Group D. Their first match will be against Ghana on July 14.

Ayinde, who has never traveled outside the United States, will first travel to Germany with the team for a final week-long training camp where they will take on Japan on June 10 and Germany on June 13.
