Merrick Chamber and Herald Life co-hosting annual Halloween parade

Ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all ages, get ready! The Merrick Chamber of Commerce and the Merrick Herald Life are co-sponsoring a Halloween Parade on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. The event is free and will begin at Purick Park, next to R.S. Jones restaurant, at Merrick and West Loines avenues. From there the procession will head south on Merrick Avenue to the gazebo at Veterans Memorial Plaza, on the north side of the Long Island Rail Road station. There will be plenty of giveaways along the way, so join us for a morning of old-fashioned fun.
