Merrick Chamber celebrates the holidays

The Merrick Chamber of Commerce recently held a holiday tree and menorah lighting ceremony at the gazebo at the Merrick train station.
Merrick residents came out in droves to showcase their holiday spirit and take part in the festivities.
The ceremony began with Chamber of Commerce President Margaret Mueller welcoming attendees. Then Daisies from Girl Scout Troop No. 2398 sang carols before the lighting ceremonies.
Finally, the tree and menorah were lit, marking the official start of the holiday season in the Merricks.
