Merrick Fire Dep't installs officers

The Merrick Fire Dept. installed its new chiefs at its 86th annual Installation Dinner on Jan. 23 at the Chateau Briand restaurant. The chiefs were sworn in by New York State David McDonough. During the ceremonies, citations and awards were presented to other members of the department for their accomplishments in 2009. Above are, from left, Second Assistant Chief Thomas J.
