For the third straight year, Old Mill Road Elementary School in North Merrick is sponsoring a walking club during lunch recess. Students receive special cards identifying themselves as members of the walking club, which is intended to encourage students to stay physically fit. This year’s walking club chairwomen are Robin Campanelli and Theresa Jones.
