Police: Merrick hit by string of jewelry burglaries

The 7th Precinct reported a string of three burglaries in Merrick on Nov. 12 between 7 and 9:50 p.m.
Between 7 and 9 p.m., an Arbor Lane home was broken into through a rear unlocked window. Jewelry was reported stolen.
Between 7:38 and 9:50 p.m., a Clubhouse Road home was broken into through the second floor rear bathroom window. Jewelry was reported stolen.
Between 7:45 and 9 p.m., a Sunrise Highway apartment was broken into through the rear sliding glass door. Jewelry and cash were reported stolen.
