Seniors and their dates gathered at homes across Bellmore-Merrick to prepare for prom last Thursday. The Singers of Merrick hosted about 20 Calhoun High School couples. The couples gathered to chat over food with their parents and pose for photos pool-side.
Many other Central High School District seniors took part in similar parties across Bellmore-Merrick. Parents and family members got the chance to take pictures of their seniors before sending them on their way.
Calhoun's prom was held at Jericho Terrace, Kennedy's prom took place at the Chateau Briand in Carle Place, and Mepham seniors danced the night away at Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park.
