Oceanside Kiwanis President Tom Cesiro, Past Lt. Governor Nancy Baxter, Assemblyman Brian Curran, Marybeth Schmid, Kiwanis Board of Directors member Marylee Scharfberg, Eric Abbey, Kiwanis Vice President Seth Blau, Kiwanis Board of Directors member Michael D’Ambrosio collected books for our overseas troops.

Oceanside kids sing patriotic songs in celebration.

The Oceanside Kiwanis club took over the Gazebo reading night on the village green July 6, in celebration of Independence Day. Kiwanians Robert and Betsy Transom provided food, local children sang patriotic songs, Assemblyman Brian Curran and others took part in reading texts from American history, and the Kiwanis club collected books for our overseas troops.
