Oceanside Middle School put on a show last weekend with its production of “Hit the Deck.” The 1927 musical tells the story of the owner of a diner, LooLoo, who falls in love with a sailor on shore leave, Bilge. LooLoo wants to get married but Bilge does not want to, which results in her embarking on a journey to China to change his mind.
