The acclaimed “torch singer” Andrea Marcovicci returns to Tilles Center for two performances on Friday, May 18, at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. The masterful cabaret singer will enchant audiences with a poignant and insightful new show, “No Strings.”

Marcovicci takes the audience on a trip around the world in this nostalgic look at 25 years of the singer’s life. It’s a journey about life on the road - a warm, funny, heartfelt, and candid tale of her time spent traveling from city to city and what that bittersweet time has meant to Marcovicci as a singer, an actress, a wife and mother. It’s an odyssey that flows from the romance of Andrea’s favorite places to unexpected bumps in the road resulting in some pretty wacky stories. Highlights include “Sunday in New York,” “Two For the Road,” “How are Things in Glocca Morra?,” “Under Paris Skies,” and “A Foggy Day.” In addition, Marcovicci recreates her celebrated rendition of “These Foolish Things.”

Tickets are $52; available at (516) 299-3100 or (800) 745-3000 or www.tickemaster.com. Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, C.W. Post Campus, Rte. 25A, Brookville.
