A Few Clouds Bringing the wedding to Mom

On May 8th Janet Castleman of Providence, R.I. and Peter Corens of Amherst, Mass. tied the knot at South Nassau Communities Hospital before Castleman’s mother, fulfilling her Mother’s Day wish.
Corens said the ceremony seemed to invigorate his mother-in-law, and she was more alert and feeling better by Monday.
His son Gabriel attended as did Castleman’s son, Ben.
This is the third generation to wear the wedding ring, and the quilt was given by Loretta Martin, a family friend. Rev. Laura Nugent-Carter of One Spirit Interfaith Seminary, in New York City officiated.
