Oceanside’s theatre school, To the Stage, performed the musical “Rent,” this weekend at Oceanside Lutheran Church. The show tells the story of a group of bohemians who live in New York City under the shadow of the HIV/AIDS crisis. The show has two casts of 40 local students. There will be more performances this weekend on Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
