Hit-and-run at Sands Shopping Center

One car fled from an alleged hit-and-run accident in front of the Sands Shopping Center at the Joe's Crab Shack entrance on Long Beach Road on Aug. 7 at 3:21 p.m.

Nassau County Police responded with three cars and an ambulance.

The driver and passenger of that car that was hit were not injured.

Police are investigating the accident.
