Mostly Cloudy Man dead in O'side industrial accident

Nassau County Police and Oceanside Firefighters investigated the fatal accident at IROC Industries on New Street.

A man died in an industrial accident in Oceanside on Jan. 7.
According to the Nassau County Police, a man in his 40s was working at IROC (Industrial Recycling of Concrete) Industries Inc. on New Street when he was trapped on a conveyor belt and was injured.
The injuries proved to be fatal, and the man was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:37 a.m.
Police said that the investigation is ongoing.
