Man robbed in Oceanside pawnshop

Two men in hooded sweatshirts and blue latex gloves assaulted a 24-year-old man, knocking him to the floor and removing money from his pants pocket on Aug. 26 at 11:40 a.m. in the Wall Street Gold and Pawn Shop in Oceanside, police said.

After the money was taken, the victim said that the pair fled the store, at 3275 Long Beach Road.

According to police, the victim described one of the suspects as 5 feet 10, stocky and in his mid-30s, while the other suspect was said to be 6 feet tall and wearing a rubber mask of a president whom police did not identify.

The victim suffered a minor injury to his left knee but refused medical attention, police said.
