Granny’s having a sale

Got unwanted household items? Donate them at the Rudich Building at Temple Avodah on weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon. And then, come to Granny’s Attic Sale on March 18 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.!

Coffee time, for science!

The Science Cafe invites you to have coffee and converse about science from 7 to 8 p.m. on March 21 at the Oceanside Library. Anthropologist Dr. Kate Pechenkina will talk about the study of ancient human health, answering the question: is the study of our past the key to our future?

The chicks start hatching

There are chicken eggs being incubated at the Island Park Public Library. From 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on March 21, guests of all ages can witness their progress as well as enjoy book reading and craft projects. (But please register beforehand.)
