New Year's baby Curley comes early

James Ryan Curley was the first baby born at South Nassau Communities Hospital in 2011, entering the world at 6:45 a.m. on Jan. 1.

James, weighing in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, is the son of James and Jessica Curley, and little brother to Elizabeth Curley. He is the grandson of Rosemary and Gerard Smith and James Curley.
