Oceanside Hadassah hosts awards, fashions

The Oceanside Chapter of Hadassah was planning on having their Annual Paid Up Membership Party (PUMP) Dinner and Fashion show on November 13, 2012. Hurricane Sandy hit on October 29, and devastated many homes within the Oceanside community. Although many members of the Oceanside Chapter of Hadassah were personally affected, their community spirit and sense of charity was still a priority.

Five months later, on April 17t the PUMP Dinner and Fashion Show was held at Oceanside Jewish Center, catered by Robert Ian Caterers.

More than eighty –five woman attended. There were five Spring Gift Boutique Vendors who sold trendy costume jewelry, pocketbooks, scarves and Pampered Chef items beginning during the cocktail hour. In addition, the members purchased raffle tickets in hopes to win one of the forty-eight Raffles donated by local businesses and one of the eight Grand Raffle Prizes. They even had a Lucky Buck to raise money for Hadassah Hospital.
