D’Amato wrong on ISIS

To the Editor:

I would like to know who kidnapped Senator D’Amato and wrote his column? (“We remain unprepared for the very real threat of ISIS,” June 11-17) Did I read that his party didn’t study history or listen to Senator Biden? Great to know that we went to war without understanding the supposed enemy.

By the way, very interesting that not only did his child go to the same school as [Vice President Joseph] Biden’s son, they were roommates. Just goes to show that only American citizens split into two parties that hate each other. The parties apparently are good friends behind closed doors.

Also, please stop carrying his column. He constantly says the wrong thing to do. Which is great for him. It gives him another column to write in five years about how he was wrong.
