Oceanside students celebrate Flag Day

Students in the Oceanside elementary schools held their annual Flag Day celebrations last Thursday. All of the schools held different ceremonies to celebrate the American flag. School 5 held one of the most colorful displays. Pictured here, clockwise, students gathered outside the school and said the Pledge of Allegiance. Andrew Isaacson celebrated with many flags and with blue and white hair. Principal Diane Provvido sang with the students. And below, students created a heart-shaped bed of flags on the front lawn of the school.
