Oceanside woman arrested on Grand Larceny charges

Nassau County police Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Oceanside woman for grand larceny that occurred from Jan. 6 through May 21.

According to detectives, Donna Romero-Flores, 54, of 100 Daly Boulevard, was employed by a private electrical business located in East Rockaway. During her employment she took in excess of 100 business checks from the victim’s business check ledger, making them payable to herself. Her employer sustained a loss in excess of $220,000.

Detectives arrested her on June 8 at her home. She is being charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on June 9 in First District Court in Hempstead.
