Police investigate robbery at Oceanside TD Bank

The Major Case Bureau of the Nassau County Police is investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on Feb.19, at 3:11 p.m. in Oceanside.

According to Robbery Squad detectives, a man entered the TD Bank, at 247 Long Beach Road, approached the teller and produced a note demanding money. The 27-year-old teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money and the subject fled on foot northeast on Foxhurst Road.

There were eight employees and one customer inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.

Police are looking for a white male, possibly Hispanic, 20 – 28 years of age, 5’6” to 5’10” tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with red star on left chest, blue jeans and a dark scarf across his face.
