Volunteers at the Turkey shoot in Oceanside - 351 baskets were donated and assembled by the Oceanside High School althetic teams, clubs, departments and battle of the classes teams. Community volunteers gave their time to drive with high school students to make it possible to deliver thanksgiving meals to 215 families.

The 2014 Turkey Shoot was a gobbling success for the needy families of Oceanside. Oceanside Community Service and Oceanside High School students collected 351 baskets of food for 215 families in need. On the morning of Nov. 25, volunteers assembled the baskets, wrapped them and loaded them into trucks for delivery.
