Oceanside High School held its annual Battle of the Bands last week, pitting three of the school’s bands against each other.
There was shredding, slashing and just a bit of face melting as the bands took the stage, putting their all into their songs and rocking the audience with both original songs and covers.
In the end, The Veterans, led by singer/guitar player Kira Metcalf-Oshinsky, won the battle, taking home the first-place prize. Lucidity, lead by singer Elizabeth Webb, came in second.
