East meadow soccer club does not allow children to participate in their recreational intramural program if the children choose to play travel soccer with another club. They are punishing the children who have made a personal decision to play with another club. Parents volunteer to coach the intramural program, there are no standings and the club is always touting it as a fun, recreational experience for the community. They are in fact trying to take the fun out of the soccer experience and they do not take our children into consideration. Additionally they have funded their field of dreams renovation with taxpayer money and they use east meadow school district's fields while not sharing in the cost to maintain them. It's outrageous that they feel they have the right to exclude certain children they see as possible rivals.
