On Aug. 16, St. Mark’s United Methodist Church hosted an outdoor Teen Rock Show to raise money for the Rockville Centre Special Education PTA.
The show was organized by Lucas Santora, who put together a similar fundraiser last year. Many local bands performed, playing everything from folk to heavy metal. Santora said he hoped the money raised would help fund music education in the school district.
