Light Rain Construction continues at SSHS, Watson

Construction continues apace at Watson, where workers have finished the exterior and moved on to finishing the interior and assembling furnishings.

Work at the high school is still continuing, with much still needing to be done. The warmer weather now makes it easier to work, and the extension is no longer under a warming tent.

Construction continues on the additions for both South Side High School and Watson Elementary School.
Work at Watson is ahead of schedule. The exterior work is completed and windows have been installed. There is still some interior work left to be done, but the expansion should be completed by the end of the year.
The work at South Side is going slower, but is still on schedule. The first expansion for the high school is starting to come together. Walls are going up, though brick work hasn’t begun. The expansion is still set to be completed by the start of the 2015-16 school year, though.
