New York State Senator Dean Skelos appointed Rockville Centre resident Jeffrey Greenfield to the Long Island Power Authority Board on Dec. 21.

Greenfield, currently the chairman of the Nassau County Planning Commission and the owner of NGL Group, an insurance company based in Lynbrook, is an active resident of the village. He additionally has served for twelve years on the Molloy College Board of Trustees.

Greenfield’s first public meeting with LIPA will be Jan. 24.
