Open Gym Program
The main gymnasium of the Rec Center will be open for free play basketball for grades 4 and up on Saturday afternoons from 2 to 4:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 29. The evening open gym for grades 6 and up will begin Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 from 7:30 to 10:15 p.m. Admission is by valid 2012-2013 Recreation Card.

Sandel Senior Men’s Club
The club meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. for breakfast and business. At 11 a.m., guest speakers discuss topics of interest to men.

Holiday party at Temple Avodah
Celebrate the season with a party at Temple Avodah in Oceanside on Dec. 14 at 12 p.m. The afternoon fee is $45 for non members and includes lunch and dancing.
SSMS seasonal performance
The music students from the South Side Middle School will perform holiday and seasonal music at the Sandel Senior Center on Dec. 18 at 11 a.m.
Intergenerational holiday party
Members and students will get together for a holiday event that will have entertainment and refreshments on Dec. 20 at 12 p.m.
