The museum, a sea captain's house built in 1886, has period furnishings. Permanent displays include: kitchen tools, wood working tools, toys, dolls and period glassware. Author Adriana Trigiani to speak at Ladies Luncheon

Bestselling author Adriana Trigiani will be the guest speaker at the Fifth Annual Ladies’ Luncheon hosted by The De La Salle School and the proceeds will benefit the school. Tree of Life Yoga

Central Synagogue of Nassau County, 430 DeMott Ave., is again sponsoring a Fall session, with evening classes of yoga. The classes are open to yoga students of all levels.
