Woman arrested for DWI with child in car

Nassau County police arrested an East Rockaway woman on July 12 in Rockville Centre and charged her with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

According to police, Bianca Flores, 25, of Wilson Street, East Rockaway, was involved in a car accident on Riverside Drive. While going to the scene, police said they saw Flores, driving a 2013 Honda with a 6-year-old passenger, get involved in another accident on Wilson Street. Police determined that Flores had allegedly left the scene of an accident in Lynbrook before the accident on Riverside Drive. There were no injuries reported.

Flores was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 (Leandra’s Law), aggravated unlicensed operation first degree, endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. She was arraigned on July 13 at First District court in Hempstead.
